What does Holidot.com offer?
In Holidot.com we are creating the largest holiday portal in Europe. At the moment the website is presented in 7 languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Polish and Dutch). To include your accommodations at Holidot.com you can benefit from our future marketing campaigns offline and off course online: we promote all different types of accommodations and throughout the entire Europe. If you increase the visibility of your accommodation it will increase the number of reservations, and ultimately the profit of your business.

Holidot.com has launched their website at the beginning of January for other accommodation parties and accommodation owners to view our concept. Customers are welcomed at our website, however no marketing is currently used to promote Holidot.com. At the moment the accommodation manager is being checked throughout to ensure that there are no bugs and mistakes present.

How can one cooperate with Holidot.com?
A company can cooperate with Holidot.com in two ways; through XML or through our own accommodation manager. In case you have (too) many accommodations that cannot be added manually and you are also not making use of XML (yet), please get in touch with us to see what other possibilities there are.

The first option, XML is a technical solution that is used by larger hotel chains and other intermediary parties such as Booking.com, Venere and others. With XML the offer of a partner can be integrated into our website and offer their accommodations with availability, rates and descriptions will be shown without updating it manually on our site.

The other option is our own accommodation manager. A single accommodation or only a few are easily added in the accommodation manager (also called extranet). After registration you can add the accommodation by providing us with the details of contact, photo’s, descriptions, availability and what level of commission you would like to pay.

How is the reservation process?

The user starts the reservation process by their search and their clicks on Holidot.com.

Holidot.com is an intermediary in an automatic form where it will confirm the reservation by email to both the user and the accommodation owner; the owner has the possibility to reject the reservation in the accommodation manager.

The decision of the accommodation owner is then confirmed to Holidot.com and to the user who requested the reservation by clicking on only once (the button accept or reject).

How & to who does the client pay?
The client pays the costs directly at your accommodation, next to this; the customer makes use of your payment- and cancellation policy. Holidot.com does ask for credit card information from the user as a guarantee during the reservation process and in case of cancellation.

What are the costs for the services of Holidot.com?
To register your accommodation on Holidot.com you do not need to pay anything neither to make use of our accommodation manager.

To increase your visibility and position on the website in the search results, you have the option to pay commission (as in GoogleAds). It is your choice as to how much you want to pay Holidot.com. The level of commission can be changed daily, depending on your wants and needs. Holidot.com will send a monthly invoice. You will have 30 days to verify and adjust the information as presented by Holidot.com.

How do I confirm a contract?
The contract of a partnership between Holidot.com and your accommodation is signed during online process of registration. After giving us your contact details we ask you to accept the General Conditions which is the contract with Holidot.com. We do not ask for a minimum of bookings or availability. Even if you have an accommodation with one room, you are able to advertise your accommodation on Holidot.com. Next to this, in any moment you are able to cancel the cooperation with Holidot.com.

How do I start with promoting my accommodations?
You can start with registration yourself on www.holidot.com and start using our accommodation manager (or extranet) for accommodation owners. At the bottom of the page is a link called ‘Accommodation Owners’. If you click that link, you will read more general information about the website, including the three step process how to log in. Click ‘register’ to register yourself and follow the steps from there. In the accommodation manager you can add your accommodation with descriptions, photo’s, availability and the different rates per rooms.
