Who are we?
Holidot.com was established by the Dutch entrepreneurs Jan-Peter Cruiming and Anne de Vries. They had previously been involved in setting up www.nationalevacaturebank.nl, a site that grew in a few years to be the largest online job application site in the Netherlands. In 2004 Cruiming sold Nationalevacature-bank.nl. During the following holiday he was struck by a new plan: Holidot.com! Holidot.com now has a staff of 15, from various countries in Europe. Every country has its own countrymanager, who keeps contact with the accommodations.

Our organisation
Holidot.com intends to grow quickly, to become the most visited hotel and holiday portal in Europe. We are confident of success, because Holidot.com has an unique concept. More and more people search and book through Internet. And Internet is increasingly the place where people meet one another. Holidot.com combines the two. Holidot.com is a portal and a community in one. That is the concept behind Holidot.com. Simple and strong, and we believe in it. You too?

Marketing
We are going to make Holidot.com a success. We will do this with our unique concept, combined with creative and active marketing in newspapers, on the Internet and on radio and TV throughout Europe. But Holidot.com will build brand recognition mainly through millions of visitors. Word of mouth, and computer-to-computer. Satisfied customers are always the best advertising. With this recipe, Holidot.com will quickly become the starting point for every journey.
